Healthcare

  • Built a clinical patient management and billing system used by 40+ clinics to manage healthcare for 160,000+ patients. Additional functionality included disability, workers' compensation case management and OSHA recordkeeping.

  • Worked with the Mayo Clinic and their claims processing unit (MMSI) to create a specialized medical health insurance plan and HIPAA compliant adjudication system targeted at lower risk, well informed employees.

  • Designed and built a comprehensive healthcare data warehouse for predictive modeling. Among many other purposes, the warehouse was used to design preventative care strategies for the company.

  • Worked with Lucent Technologies, their divested company Avaya (of 36,000 employees) and Gates McDonald to design and build a hybrid out-sourced/in-sourced disability and workers’ compensation claims process and related systems.

 

Infrastructure Design and Consolidation

  • Streamlined and reduced infrastructure 75% by consolidating regional infrastructure into a single virtualized global data center.

  • Architected, built and supported large, global enterprise systems and 24x7 operations. Regularly interacted with global business partners at all levels to ensure alignment and clarity around objectives.
